Bryan Evans 150x150 Bryan Evans : Watercolours of the west coast of ScotlandI came across Bryan Evans’ work the other day.   Born in Wales, he is now based in the West of Scotland and produces original art with strong contemporary Scottish themes.

Contemporary Art by Bryan Evans

Watercolour is one of his favoured mediums.  They are quite original, capturing light and colour beautifully.  I really enjoyed his themes of Glasgow tenament closes and railwaystations.  His original prints, mostly of love at every age,  are strong and full of intensity.  His canvas reflects life in an original form – they really are original art.

I think his contemporary art is worth support – I’ll buy a print, which at an affordable price, will enrich my home and growing collection!

I am a little tired of West coast of Scotland scenes. Doesn’t the light constantly change?

But I like the city scenes.
